The Ministry of Digital Development of Russia has introduced a new protection mechanism on the Unified Portal of State and Municipal Services (Gosuslugi) to prevent fraud.
If the system detects suspicious user activity, access to sensitive sections of their personal account will be restricted for 72 hours.
This innovation is aimed at protecting information about income, taxes, pensions and benefits. If fraudulent activity is suspected, access to the "Income and Taxes", "Work and Pension", and "Benefits and Payments" sections will be temporarily blocked.
In addition, the ability to log in to your personal account via Gosuslugi on websites related to financial transactions, such as microfinance organizations, as well as access to the Gosklyuch mobile application, is limited.
