The United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) will export the first HyClever hydrogen generator of its own design. The contract for the supply was concluded by the Special Design and Technology Bureau for Electrochemistry of USC (SKTBE).
The first customer was Karaganda GRES-1, Temirtau, Kazakhstan. The main advantage of HyClever hydrogen generators is the absence of an aggressive alkaline solution in electrolyzers, which were developed by SKTBE specialists.
Using water instead of alkali makes the installation safe to maintain and greatly simplifies the disposal of waste. HyClever consists almost entirely of Russian components and perfectly replaces foreign analogues.
USC HyClever industrial alkaline-free hydrogen generators can be used in the energy sector for cooling turbogenerators at thermal power plants, hydroelectric power plants and nuclear power plants, chemical, metallurgical, oil refining, and food industries.
Hydrogen is also used as fuel for power plants of various types of transport, including ships and railway transport.
