Photograph Falsified: AvtoVAZ Did Not Ask Putin to Prevent Renault from Entering Russia

Fake note appeared in an unpublished issue of the newspaper "Vesti profsoyuza"

AvtoVAZ has denied the information in the photograph of a yet-to-be-released issue of the newspaper "Vesti profsoyuza" of the primary trade union organization of AvtoVAZ JSC. The company stated that this material does not correspond to reality.

According to Tatyana Chaikun, the falsified image was created based on the front page of the February issue of the newspaper "Vesti profsoyuza". The image featured a note addressing Vladimir Putin with a request to prevent Renault from returning to Russia.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that AvtoVAZ appealed to Putin with a request not to allow Renault to return to Russia.
