A massive failure in the Faster Payments System (FPS) occurred in Russia. Customers cannot make transfers, and failures are recorded in the operation of banking applications. Information about the problems appeared on the Downdetector service, where users actively reported their problems. Similar complaints were also recorded on the Sboy.rf platform.
The National Payment Card System (NSPK), which is responsible for the operation of the FPS, confirmed the presence of malfunctions. NSPK representatives reported that specialists are already working on solving the problems. It is important to note that other NSPK services and systems are functioning as usual.
At 11:32 Moscow time, all FPS services were restored and began to operate normally.
Problems with banks have been occurring recently not for the first time. Last week, customers of Sberbank and other online services reported problems. A few days before that, residents of Siberia and the Urals faced problems in the operation of mobile operators' services and popular platforms.
