Sollers is preparing to release three new modifications of 6-speed manual transmissions at the Sollers Production of Transmissions plant, according to a source within the company.
The new transmissions are designed for Sollers ST6 and ST8 gasoline vehicles and a light version of the Sollers Atlant van with a 1.9-liter engine. These two pickups have been produced at the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant since November 2024 and are already equipped with 6-speed manual transmissions in combination with a 136 hp diesel engine or a 176 hp gasoline engine and all-wheel drive.
For the production of Sollers ST6 and ST8, a 130-meter welding line and a body assembly line were launched at the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant. The company also modernized the painting and assembly production.
In technical terms, Sollers ST6 and ST8 copy the JAC T6, which is built on the basis of the Toyota Hilux. All cars are equipped with Russian-made power units.
