Citydrive, a short-term car rental service, has launched the FMS App, a mobile application designed to automate tasks for employees servicing the transport fleet.
The program is available on iOS and Android, combining management tools into a single interface. According to the company, this is part of a strategy to digitalize workflows.
Previously, employees used up to three different applications to coordinate actions, which slowed down task completion. The new platform allows real-time tracking of tasks, monitoring the condition of cars, planning movements, and using navigation with an interactive map. During testing, the processing time for requests was reduced by 32%, and after full implementation, the figure may reach 50%.
The goal of the project is to reduce the burden on personnel by automating routine operations. This will allow employees to focus on technical maintenance and improving the quality of services.
