AvtoVAZ will launch mass production of the new Lada Iskra model in April 2024. The new product will occupy an intermediate position in the brand's lineup between the popular Granta and Vesta cars.
All versions of Lada Iskra will be equipped with an electronic stabilization system (ESC) from Itelma. This is the first AvtoVAZ model where the ESC unit is supplemented by the iTPMS function (tire pressure monitoring system).
iTPMS is less accurate than direct pressure measurement (dTPMS), as its operation depends on tire wear. After pumping or replacing a wheel, the user will need to update the data. This is usually done with a special button.
Lada Iskra production will start on April 19.
