JSC LOMO (Leningrad Optical Mechanical Association named after V. I. Lenin, part of the Kalashnikov concern) won in two auctions for the supply of MSK-3-1 forensic microscopes to the customer. The equipment is intended to meet state needs. This was reported by the concern's press service.
The MSK-3-1 microscope is used to identify ballistic and trace evidence objects (traces of various origins), technical examination of documents, handwriting, research of stamps, coins, banknotes, seals, locks, knives.
The equipment is equipped with a visual attachment — binocular with diopter adjustment on two tubes. The focusing system of MSK-3-1 is combined. The light source is LED illuminators (inclined, ring), the power source is — AC power (220 V 50 Hz).
