Russian manufacturer AvtoVAZ has reduced production volumes of the luxury Lada Aura. This was reported by the insider public Avtograd.
Assembly has been carried out in recent weeks, but not every day anymore. Previously, the daily production plan provided for the production of 30 cars daily.
The Lada Vesta assembly line is also operating with underutilized capacity. A total of about 20 cars per hour are produced on it in a two-shift operation, totaling 320 cars per day.
At the same time, last year AvtoVAZ had plans for the management of the car plant to increase the line's productivity to 52 commercial vehicles per hour, but the demand in the sales market made its adjustments.
