The Cordiant holding has developed tires for cars of the domestic luxury brand Aurus, the novelty is already at the testing stage. This was announced by the General Director of the enterprise, Vadim Volodin, during a press conference at the Gislaved plant in Ulyanovsk.
Gislaved brand tires for Aurus cars are already being tested. This is a certain challenge for us. The car manufacturer is interested in a second supplier.
Currently, Aurus cars are equipped with 20-inch Pirelli Scorpion Verde or Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 tires.
The Cordiant holding includes five plants: two own in Yaroslavl and Omsk, as well as the former Bridgestone enterprises in Ulyanovsk and Continental in Kaluga, renamed Gislaved. The total production capacity is 15 million tires annually.
