In 2025, the Russian arms concern Kalashnikov will produce 60% more missile and artillery weapons than in 2024. The increase in production volumes is due to the commissioning of new equipment and the creation of an additional 700 jobs, the concern's press service reported.
The plan includes increasing the production of anti-aircraft guided missiles (SAM) for the Strela-10 family of anti-aircraft missile systems (SAM), the Vikhr-1 air-launched anti-tank guided missile, and the Kitolov-2 guided artillery projectile.
Comprehensive measures have significantly increased the production of high-precision ammunition. Products under state contracts are shipped without disruptions in accordance with approved schedules.
Alan Lushnikov, General Director of Kalashnikov, stated that the enterprises within the concern will continue to increase the production of demanded products to strengthen Russia's defense capabilities.
