In Russia, starting from September 1, 2025, motor oils will be labeled under the "Honest Sign" system. This may cause problems for car services. According to auto journalists, it will be impossible to sell oil from a barrel to a legal entity or individual entrepreneur; only the sale of the entire container of lubricants will be legal.
This means that a small service station cannot buy part of a 200-liter barrel from an importer or a large seller for its service - either take the whole barrel, or not at all.
According to him, if an oil importer wants to sell it in parts from a barrel, then he will need to create a new product in the "Honest Sign" system, register it, and only then sell it.
A large supplier becomes like an oil producer!
The auto journalist drew attention to the fact that the main difficulties will arise for services that serve corporate fleets. At the same time, it will still be possible to sell motor oil to individuals in parts.
