The Russian tank support fighting vehicle (BMPT) is a true "terminator" on the battlefield, created by Uralvagonzavod for fire support of tank and motorized rifle units. This vehicle is capable of effectively fighting a variety of targets, from tanks and fortified structures to aerial threats.
The main tasks of the BMPT in conjunction with tanks are the destruction of manpower, anti-tank weapons, and lightly armored vehicles. The advantages of the BMPT include the ability to simultaneously engage up to three different targets thanks to three operators. Frontal armor at the level of the main battle tank, a dynamic protection system on the sides, and lattice screens for protection against RPGs.
BMPT is not just a vehicle, it is a true "shield and sword" for modern troops, providing superiority on the battlefield.
At the same time, the "Terminator" can operate both as part of tank units and independently, and is capable of detecting and destroying targets in any conditions.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Russia will sell India engines for T-72 tanks for $248 million.
