Advanced airport protection system against kamikaze drones created in Russia

The novelty guarantees the safety of air harbors

A system for protecting airports from unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) has been created in Russia. The development of the "Neoskan" company allows not only to protect the object, but also to guarantee flight safety.

The General Director of the developing enterprise, Dmitry Moskalevich, noted that the system does not affect the operation of aviation telecommunications and radio technical support of flights (Aeronautical Radio Service and Radio Technical Support).

The State Commission on Radio Frequencies (SCRF) has given permission to allocate a frequency band for the company's suppression equipment, Moskalevich added. The developers tested the system at the Ministry of Defense's training grounds to confirm its effectiveness and inclusion in the catalog of the military-industrial commission. Now this is a mandatory requirement for equipment of this type.

And if the company was able to develop a universal suppression system for any type of drone, then, of course, this is a revolutionary breakthrough.
