Artificial intelligence (AI) is being actively implemented in Russian development. It performs from 5-10% of routine tasks. This was reported by MTS.
MTS First Vice President for Technology Pavel Voronin told reporters that in the mobile operator's systems, about 8% of the code is created using AI. The top manager is confident that the share of such code will grow to 25% by 2027.
The growth of AI use in development is related to the improvement of tools for programmers. The popularity of such services is increasing every year. Voronin assumes that by 2030, more than 90% of developers will actively start using AI assistants for writing and checking code. Thus, the development process will be simplified, and its efficiency will be increased.
