KamAZ has mastered the production of another model of the new generation of vehicles. The first all-wheel drive KAMAZ-65954 tractor unit has rolled off the assembly line of the automobile plant. The first prototypes of the tractor were assembled back in February 2024.

In early March 2025, after completing a full range of tests and obtaining Vehicle Type Approval, the first vehicle with the index 65954 from the pilot production batch was manufactured directly at the industrial site — the main assembly line of the automobile plant.

In total, in March-April, the company plans to produce 10 units of this highly efficient equipment. In total, in accordance with the business plan, the production of 40 vehicles of this model is planned for 2025. KAMAZ-65954 is a 6x6 wheel arrangement tractor unit, belonging to the all-wheel drive family of the latest generation K5 vehicles.

The vehicle is equipped with a 2300 mm wide cab with one sleeping berth, a 560 hp KAMAZ P6 engine, a mechanical gearbox and 16.00R20 tires.

The tractor is equipped with the latest automatic tire inflation system controlled via the on-board information system screen. The truck also features a high degree of cross-country ability thanks to all-wheel drive: 6x6 wheel arrangement, all three axles are driving axles, with planetary wheel gears and a conical central transmission. Also worth noting is the sturdy metal front bumper and high ground clearance.
