A unique monster truck, created on the basis of VAZ-2121 Niva with Suzuki Escudo elements, has been put up for sale in Yekaterinburg.
This homemade pickup swamp buggy received a frame from a Japanese SUV, MTZ 320 portal axles from the Bolshoe Koleso company (Elektrostal), as well as a number of modifications that significantly enhanced its cross-country ability.
The all-terrain vehicle is equipped with a fully steerable chassis, a transfer case from a GAZ-69, as well as a standard engine and gearbox from a VAZ-21213. The steering is made according to a hydraulic volumetric scheme, similar to the control system of JCB 4CX excavators. This allows you to use different modes of axis rotation, including crab steering.
The main feature of the car is the ability to move on water. For this, the body is equipped with four floats, two of which can be replaced with fuel tanks with a total volume of 400 liters. The spring-type suspension received front levers from UAZ, and giant wheels with a size of 1300/560 are manufactured by Arktiktrans.
The body was lengthened in the arched parts, adapted to the wheelbase of the all-terrain vehicle, rebuilt into a pickup truck and integrated with the frame. In the cabin there are two seats, the interior is as simple as possible.
The price of this homemade all-terrain vehicle is 1.6 million rubles. According to the documents, it is listed as a regular Niva, but the alterations are not registered with the traffic police, and the car itself was always delivered to the place of operation on a trailer.
