The "Nevesta-S" thermal imaging afocal attachment for small arms is capable of operating for at least three hours at a temperature of about 23 degrees Celsius. This was reported by the press service of Rosoboronexport.
"Nevesta-S" provides observation, target recognition, and aimed fire at medium and long ranges in all weather conditions.
The complex operates in automatic mode and does not require additional settings in changing observation conditions. Activation time is less than 3 seconds.
"Nevesta-S" is installed in front of the daytime optical sight and has a mount designed for installation on weapons with a standard upper Picatinny rail. The attachment is equipped with a connector for outputting video signal to an external device, receiving external power, and connecting a remote control.
