Footage of a modernized BTR-82A wheeled armored personnel carrier has appeared online. The body of the combat vehicle is reliably covered by multi-layered anti-drone protection.
The armored personnel carrier is designed to accommodate 10 people, and thanks to a 330 hp diesel engine, it can accelerate to 80 km/h on the highway.
The improved BTR-82A is armed with a 30 mm 2A72 gun, and its hull can withstand the impact of B-32 armor-piercing bullets.
Also, recently, armored personnel carriers have begun to receive promising combat modules equipped with launchers for 9M133M-2 Kornet anti-tank guided missiles. The system's range is up to 8 km.
