The first image of the new Lada Iskra in blue body color has appeared online. Previously, the car, which will take a place in the price range between Granta and Vesta, was shown only in red in the official renders.
Mass production of Lada Iskra will start on April 19, 2025, exactly 55 years after the start of production of the VAZ-2101 «Kopeyka».
The model will be offered with two naturally aspirated 1.6-liter engines with a capacity of 106 and 90 hp. Transmission options include a five- or six-speed manual, as well as a CVT produced in China.
The maximum speed of Iskra reaches 175 km/h, and fuel consumption will be from 7.2 to 7.8 liters per 100 km.
Earlier www1.ru reported that AvtoVAZ will release the newest Lada Granta Cross in the «liftback» body in the summer of 2025.
