Запуск «Союз МС-27» с экипажем на МКС запланирован на 8 апреля

The main crew of the 73rd long-duration expedition will include two Russian cosmonauts and one American astronaut

A few days after the successful launch of the Progress MS-30 cargo spacecraft from Baikonur, Roscosmos announced a new launch — on April 8, 2025, a Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket will be launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome with the Soyuz MS-27 manned spacecraft, which will deliver a crew of three to the International Space Station (ISS).

The crew will include Roscosmos cosmonauts Sergei Ryzhikov and Alexei Zubritsky, as well as NASA astronaut Jonathan Kim. The readiness of the mission's backups has also been confirmed — cosmonauts Sergei Kud-Sverchkov, Sergei Mikaev, and NASA astronaut Christopher Williams.

This launch will strengthen cooperation between Russia and the United States in space, ensuring the smooth operation of the ISS and the continuation of scientific research on the station.
