The new JAC RF8 minivan will be assembled at one of Sollers' plants in Russia. Production is scheduled to begin this year, according to Sergey Sadovenko, Sales Director of JAC Automobile LLC.
The JAC RF8 minivan has already been introduced in China. The car has gained attention due to its affordable price.
The JAC RF8 could become the most affordable minivan among all cars in its class sold in Russia. The expected price ranges from 4.5 to 5 million rubles.
The car with a wheelbase of 3100 mm can accommodate up to seven people (including the driver). Under the hood, the minivan has a 2.0-liter engine with 224 hp and an 8-speed automatic transmission. It also features dual-zone climate control, second-row ottomans with electric drives, massage and ventilation, two sunroofs, two multimedia systems, adaptive cruise control, and numerous driver assistance systems.
