The operating system "Moscow Electronic School" (MESH OS) has been included in the register of domestic software of the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia. This was announced in the press service of the Department of Information Technology of the city of Moscow.
From this year, MESH OS will be used to organize the state final certification of schoolchildren, including the main state exam (OGE) and its training versions in various formats. This approach will ensure stability, transparency and convenience of verification processes for graduates and teachers.
The Deputy Head of the Moscow Department of Information Technology, Evgeny Komarenko, noted that the availability of a proprietary software solution allows Moscow schools to abandon foreign software.
MESH OS was developed and implemented in educational institutions in Moscow in 2023 as part of the import substitution policy. It is installed on teachers' laptops, monoblocks in computer classes and interactive panels in schools.
