A video of an aerial battle between a Russian drone and a heavy "Baba Yaga" quadcopter has appeared online. The footage shows two aircraft stalking and hunting each other.
The drone's flight altitude exceeded 120 meters, noted military expert Boris Rozhin. The drone battle ended in a draw.
However, during the same shift, the military personnel shot down two more "Baba Yagas" with a ramming attack, sacrificing their drones.
Earlier, the Russian military adapted a YakB-12.7 four-barrel helicopter machine gun on a pickup truck to combat unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The weapon was modernized with the installation of a collimator and a night sight, transmitting the image to a monitor.
