Russian President Vladimir Putin has proposed considering the possibility of reducing the final cost of Russian high-speed hydrofoil vessels.
Very comfortable and in demand, but the cost needs to be reduced.
During a meeting at the Radar MMS research and production enterprise, he noted that it is necessary to reduce costs to make the vessels more accessible to buyers. At the same time, he emphasized that modern modifications have a high level of comfort and environmental safety.
The head of state also said that he had discussed this issue with the Governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Beglov, during an inspection of the enterprise.
Radar MSS, together with the Central Design Bureau for Hydrofoil Vessels (JSC "CDB for SEC named after R.E. Alekseev"), develops and creates high-speed vessels and ekranoplans of a new generation. Among the hydrofoil vessels are Meteor 120R, Cyclone 250M, Kometa 120M and Valdai 45R.
