"Uralvagonzavod" announced its readiness to modernize Soviet and Russian T-72, T-80 and T-90 tanks supplied abroad. This refers to potential orders from friendly countries.
Thousands of T-72, T-80 and T-90 tanks are in service in foreign countries around the world. The products can be upgraded to the level of T-72B3M, T-80BVM and T-90MS.
The T-72 was exported to more than 40 countries. These tanks are still in service in Croatia, the Czech Republic, Yemen, Ethiopia, and Syria. The T-80 is operated by the armed forces of South Korea, Cyprus, Belarus, Egypt, and Kazakhstan. The T-90 can be found in the armies of Azerbaijan, Algeria, and India.
