In the Nizhny Novgorod region, a drone was tested for the first time as a medical courier. A drone from the company "Klevercopter" delivered research materials from the Bor Central District Hospital to the regional AIDS center. This was announced by the governor of the region, Gleb Nikitin.
The flight itself lasted less than 10 minutes – no other method would have allowed such an important cargo to be delivered faster.
The tests were carried out by the Ministry of Health of the Nizhny Novgorod Region in conjunction with the center for support and coordination of domestic digital technologies and developers "Gorky Tech."
Klevercopter engineers have developed the Courier-30 drone. This UAV is assembled from domestic components and is included in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
Characteristics of the Courier-30 drone:
- delivery of goods weighing up to 6 kg
- flight range — up to 18 km
- electric motor
- flight speed — up to 50 km/h
- flight at temperatures from -25 to +40 degrees
