The Russian vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) drone Supercam SX350 is capable of performing special tasks in the interests of the Navy. This was announced by an official representative of the "Unmanned Systems" group of companies.
According to him, the Supercam SX350 tiltrotor can be used from the deck of a ship.
The drone is suitable for patrolling the water area and coastal zone, ice reconnaissance, ensuring the safety of civilian vessels, as well as for performing tasks in the interests of the Navy - target designation for warships, submarines and coastal missile systems.
The capabilities of vertical take-off and landing, as well as the long high-speed horizontal flight of the SX350 allow for the inspection of hard-to-reach, extended objects.
