Новые спасательные плиты «Росатома» протестировали в экстремальных условиях

Composite slabs "Mobistek" and "Trassa" were used during the Ministry of Emergency Situations exercises in the Arctic

Products of "Steklonit" company (composite division of "Rosatom") demonstrated high efficiency at the Ministry of Emergency Situations exercises "Safe Arctic". In Chukotka, a helicopter platform for evacuating "wounded" was assembled from polymer slabs. These slabs are used for the construction of temporary roads, bridges and evacuation of stuck equipment.

The "Mobistek" and "Trassa" slabs were presented in Arkhangelsk. "Mobistek" combines rigidity and buoyancy, withstanding loads up to 80 tons. "Trassa" slabs are thinner and more flexible, making them convenient for transportation and installation. Slabs can be quickly used to create platforms for temporary facilities and runways.

In Chukotka, in 47-degree frost conditions, "Trassa" slabs were used to assemble a platform for a Mi-8 helicopter. Within 22 minutes, rescuers assembled a 10×9 m platform, on which the helicopter landed. The Ministry of Emergency Situations confirmed the effectiveness of the slabs in extreme climatic conditions.

"Steklonit" has been producing slabs since 2009. The products occupy more than 50% of the Russian market and are used in oil and gas companies to create temporary roads, platforms and driveways. The company also produces slabs for repairing railways.
