The forecasts were confirmed — another flare of the penultimate power class was recorded on the Sun. This was reported by the press service of the Institute of Applied Geophysics (FGBU "IPG").

On February 13 at 14:09 Moscow time, an M1.0 flare with a duration of 8 minutes was recorded in the X-ray range in group of spots 3987 (S06W21).

It is worth noting that today the probability of storms and disturbances was about 80%. It is expected that on Saturday the influence of the solar wind will begin to decrease rapidly, and the probability of disturbances will decrease to about 30%.
