"Sura 2.0" is the first passenger vessel to receive an autonomous control system from GC "Gama"

The passenger electric vessel of the PKS-40.2 project was laid down at the Chkalovsk shipyard in the Nizhny Novgorod region. It was named "Sura 2.0".

It will become the first of five vessels to be built by order of the Gama tourist company. The project continues the line of Sura-type vessels, and the design of the new electric vessel was developed by the SEA TECH Group studio.

The "Sura 2.0" will be equipped with a hybrid electric propulsion system and will be able to stay afloat for 20 hours. For the first time, an autonomous control system will be introduced on a passenger vessel. It was developed by the design bureau of GC "Gama".

The launch of the new vessel is scheduled for September 2025. According to Dmitry Galkin, General Director of Gama, the vessel will be used for tourist transportation in the Nizhny Novgorod water area.
