New tool will predict the behavior of substances during processing and storage

MEPhI has created an online service called the RSP (Real Substance Properties) Library. This tool predicts how different substances and materials will behave during processing, transportation, mixing, and storage. Such predictions are important for many industries, including energy, mechanical engineering, and aviation.

The service can be used with any modern programming language. It is easy to integrate into existing systems. The RSP Library works on various devices, including PCs and microcontrollers. It supports Windows, Linux, and MacOS operating systems. In the future, the MEPhI team will create its own engineering calculator that will work independently of other systems.

The project became the winner of the first cycle of the Rosatom and MEPhI University Technological Accelerator. It received investments of 3.5 million rubles. After that, the team of its creators won a grant of 4 million rubles and registered the company "Fiztekhlab." It will be engaged in software development.

Project manager Ilya Konovalov said that the team has already signed a cooperation agreement and is testing its product at one of Rosatom's enterprises.
