Deputy Head of the Council for the Development of the Digital Economy under the Federation Council, Senator Artyom Sheikin, has appealed to the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation with an initiative to use the "Gosuslugi" portal to identify "white" hackers. The draft law is at the stage of discussion with departments and market participants.
The document was sent to the Ministry of Digital Development, FSTEC, the Prosecutor General's Office, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs for their consideration and opinions. After receiving responses and feedback from the government of the Russian Federation, the draft law will be submitted to the State Duma.
"White" hackers are independent programmers who search for vulnerabilities in information infrastructure. They operate legally and on a lawful basis, helping organizations prevent attacks from malicious actors.
