Federation Council Proposed Identifying "White" Hackers Through the "Gosuslugi" Portal

The initiative aims to legalize the activities of independent cybersecurity specialists

The Deputy Head of the Council for the Development of the Digital Economy under the Federation Council, Senator Artem Sheikin, has appealed to the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation with an initiative to use the "Gosuslugi" portal to identify "white" hackers. The draft law is currently under discussion with departments and market participants.

The document was sent to the Ministry of Digital Development, FSTEC, the Prosecutor General's Office, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs for their consideration and to obtain opinions. After receiving responses and feedback from the government of the Russian Federation, the draft law will be submitted to the State Duma.
