A powerful class X magnetic storm is expected on Earth. It may occur on February 4, according to the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the IKI and ISZF of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
We can only keep our fingers crossed that there will be no major X-flare with an ejection in the next couple of days. Unfortunately, the mathematical probabilities of such a scenario are at a fairly high level.
According to experts' calculations, magnetic field disturbances will begin at 16:00 and last until 22:00, after which the situation is expected to stabilize. However, the level of solar activity remains high.
Earlier it was reported about nine flares of the penultimate power class, recorded on February 3.
