About 60 Moscow companies have applied for residency in the first video game cluster

The cluster for video game and animation development will be equipped with high-tech equipment

Almost 60 Moscow companies have applied for residency in Russia's first video game and animation cluster, which will open this year in Skolkovo.

The cluster is suitable for creating video game and animation products of any complexity. The first floor will house a cinema with high-resolution screens, a motion capture studio, a venue for e-sports tournaments, a recording studio and a lecture hall. The second floor will be a coworking area, and the third, fourth and fifth floors will have comfortable office spaces.

The final selection of applications for residency will take place in the spring. Companies that receive resident status will be able to locate their offices on preferential terms. They will also have access to tax benefits from the Skolkovo Foundation, including exemption from income tax and a reduced rate of insurance contributions.

Currently, workers are carrying out rough finishing of the premises, after which they will lay flooring, paint the walls and equip the space with the necessary equipment.
