The "R-29" missile boat of project 1241 "Molniya" of the Pacific Fleet conducted artillery firing in the Sea of Japan and repelled an attack by unmanned boats (BEC) of a mock enemy. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
In the waters of Peter the Great Bay, the missile boat crew performed test artillery firing at air and sea targets, and also repelled an attack by BECs of a mock enemy.
Also, the personnel of the "R-29" boat destroyed a floating mine and fired from a hand grenade launcher at detected mock saboteurs.
The armament of project 1241 "Molniya" includes a launcher for the Igla anti-aircraft missile system (SAM), an RBU-1200 rocket-bomb launcher, and AK-176M and AK-630M artillery systems.
