В России предложили ускорить обновление общественного транспорта за счет создания фонда

«Общероссийское объединение пассажиров» предложило создать специальный целевой фонд

The "All-Russian Association of Passengers" has proposed to the Russian government to accelerate the renewal of public transport by creating a special purpose fund. Its volume is estimated at 10-12 billion rubles per year.

The fund will be replenished through fare payments, recycling fees, parking fees, and tourist tax. The initiative aims to renew more than 57,000 buses, 5,000 trolleybuses, and 4,000 trams by 2030.

The State Transport Leasing Company (JSC "GTLK") is ready to participate in the fund as a basic customer, which will determine the needs of the regions and form a unified long-term supply plan for the factories.

Manufacturers support the idea, as many regions need to modernize their tram and trolleybus fleets. Experts note that long-term contracts will help retain personnel in production and improve product quality.

Earlier, www1.ru, referring to the government, reported on how public transport in Russia has been updated in five years.
