No country in the world has missile defense systems capable of countering the Russian ballistic hypersonic medium-range missile "Hazel". This was stated by military expert Andrei Koshkin.
No one in the world has the means to resist "Hazel". And no one would want to admit it.
"Hazel" is a solid-propellant ballistic missile on a mobile chassis with a warhead equipped with several individually guided warheads, which can be in both conventional and nuclear configurations.
Russian President Vladimir Putin noted thatthe "Hazel" warheads attack targets at speeds of up to 10 Mach or about 3 km/s at a range of up to 5,500 km, and Western missile defense systems have no way to intercept them.
