The "Chelyabkranservice" enterprise has created a four-axle PMSU-01 machine for snow removal. It operates on the basis of the EDK-25 crane, its boom has been replaced with a snow removal brush.
The PMSU-01 is capable of clearing snow up to 0.3 meters high and 3 meters wide at a working speed of 6.4 km/h.
Our machine is fully rotating — you can turn around, you can clean the adjacent track. Some of the drives are hydraulic, some are electromechanical, with both frequency and contactor control. On top of that, it's all decorated with modern control and monitoring systems.
The key feature of the PMSU-01 is the ability to rotate the rotary frame by 360° and rotate the brush by 180° relative to the vertical axis. This allows you to clear snow simultaneously on the main track and on parallel tracks.
The snowplow's power plant includes a diesel unit based on a YaMZ-238 engine and a 150 kW generator. The PMSU-01 can move in both directions thanks to two travel gearboxes. The service life of the machine is 25 years.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that in the Chelyabinsk region, a snow removal machine based on the Ural-6370 chassis was developed.
