В Белоруссии наладили производство линз и автомобильных фар для российских машин

Headlights for the Russian and Belarusian automotive industries have begun production at the "Rudensk" plant

The Belarusian enterprise "Rudensk" began production of headlights and taillights for Russian cars, trucks, and buses in December 2024. The plant assembles lighting equipment for UAZ vehicles, Lada, PAZ buses, KamAZ trucks, and other vehicles.

Previously, the enterprise found it difficult to compete with foreign component manufacturers. In 2022, foreign companies left the Russian market. After that, "Rudensk" became one of the first projects in the field of import substitution of automotive equipment in Russia and Belarus.

The enterprise independently produces printed circuit boards necessary for the operation of headlights. For this, the plant updated equipment, created a production bureau, and retrained personnel.

The "Rudensk" plant has existed in Belarus for 96 years. In 1920, it produced bricks, later – building materials and haberdashery, in the 80s – children's and Christmas toys, as well as shoe polish.
