Ростех передал российским авиакомпаниям 14 новейших вертолетов Ми-8МТВ-1 с увеличенной дальностью полёта

Новые Ми-8МТВ-1 получили дополнительные топливные баки на 915 л

The "Russian Helicopters" holding (part of the Rostec State Corporation) has delivered 14 new multi-purpose Mi-8MTV-1 helicopters to domestic airlines. The rotorcrafts are designed for transporting cargo and passengers, and are capable of performing sanitary tasks and other aviation works.

The company "UTair-Helicopter services" received 10 helicopters. Today, the carrier has the largest fleet of Mi-8MTV-1 and Mi-8AMT in Russia.

The remaining four helicopters were received by the airlines "ConversAvia", "Komiaviatrans", "LEADER" and "2nd Arkhangelsk Joint Aviation Squadron".

The new "eights" are equipped with additional fuel tanks with a capacity of 915 liters. This will allow them to travel long distances without refueling - up to 1050 km. The multi-purpose Mi-8MTV-1 is capable of carrying cargo weighing up to 4 tons, and the vehicles are also equipped with medical modules if necessary.

Also, the design and equipment of the Mi-8MTV-1 allows the machines to be operated in extreme conditions, with autonomous basing on unprepared sites. These qualities are especially in demand in the hard-to-reach regions of the Arctic and the Far East.
