AvtoVAZ has reduced the pace of assembling new cars. The manufacturer has adjusted the production of cars to meet market demands, according to the insider public Avtograd News on the VKontakte social network.
The largest decrease affected the production of Vesta, with about 20 cars per hour rolling off the assembly line here.
The production of the Niva family has also been cut back, they now work 8 hours, previously it was 9. The Granta production line assembles no more than 350 cars each shift, previously it was a hundred more, on Saturdays now only the regular 8-hour shift of Granta will work, last year there was an enhanced 12-hour shift. Car production is adjusted to meet market needs.
