During exercises in the Baltic Sea, the Steregushchiy-class corvette "Boikiy" of Project 20380 carried out electronic launches from the "Uran" missile system at ships and aerial targets of a mock enemy. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
As part of the training tasks, the corvette's crew practiced using the air defense system (ADS), as well as electronic warfare and visual camouflage equipment.
When simulated aerial targets approached the engagement range, they were conditionally destroyed from artillery, anti-aircraft, and other shipboard air defense systems.
The crew of "Boikiy" also performed exercises in setting up electronic countermeasures, conducted exercises in the fight for the ship's survivability on the move, and carried out a number of anti-submarine and anti-sabotage measures.
The armament of the Project 20380 corvettes includes the "Uran" missile system with Kh-35U missiles, the "Redut" anti-aircraft missile system (SAM), two four-tube torpedo launchers, and two 30-mm six-barreled artillery mounts.
