The Russian Ministry of Defense showed footage of a strike on a self-propelled artillery unit (SPG) with the help of FPV drones of the Rubicon test center for advanced unmanned technologies.
Drone operators identified a self-propelled gun covered with a camouflage net in a forest belt. The data of the detected target was promptly transferred to the strike assets, as a result, the equipment was destroyed by two kamikaze drones.
The Rubicon Center for Advanced Unmanned Technologies was created in the Ministry of Defense in August 2024 on the instructions of the head of the military department, Andrei Belousov.
The key areas of the center's work are the training of highly qualified instructors from among specialists in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and operators of strike and reconnaissance drones. The center also develops and tests advanced robotic systems.
Earlier, test footage of the Marker combat robot with the Kornet ATGM appeared online.
