The number of trips in carsharing cars reached 53 million

At the end of 2024, the carsharing fleet in Moscow reached a record 40 thousand cars, which is 18% more compared to 2023. This figure is significantly ahead of the plan — achieving this level was expected only by 2030.

The average age of a rental car is 1.5 years, and each vehicle is used 5-6 times a day. In general, the number of carsharing trips in the capital continues to grow, and the number of trips increased by 4% over the year, reaching 53 million.

Since the start of carsharing in the capital in 2015, the number of users has increased 57 times. On average, 146 thousand trips are made daily, and over 9 years, users have made a total of 324 million trips.

Since 2018, carsharing operators have begun to receive subsidies that allow them to compensate for the costs of purchasing new cars. In 2024, the amount of subsidies amounted to 225 million rubles, which helped to compensate for part of the costs of purchasing 11 thousand cars.
