A new semi-trailer manufacturer, "Ultra", has appeared in Russia. The production site of the former Liebherr heavy machinery plant in the Nizhny Novgorod region was chosen for the project. The first car carrier trailer, which received its own VIN, was assembled at the new enterprise the day before.
Production was started with car carriers, as this type of product is in high demand. However, during 2025, "Ultra" plans to launch from 6 to 8 models of various semi-trailers.
The product development is completely Russian, while components from both Russia, Europe, and China are used for production. A source at the enterprise reported that part of the professional team from Liebherr is involved in the production process, which guarantees high product quality.
At the beginning of next year, the project plans to provide more detailed information about further plans and production development.
