This year, Roscosmos concluded contracts with four countries, launched 100 satellites, and became profitable, according to the head of the state corporation, Yuri Borisov.

Regarding the development of new markets, we have been very active over the past two years, and especially in the past year, working with colleagues from BRICS. There are contracts with countries such as India, China, Iran, and Algeria. Good progress is being made with the Republic of South Africa and a number of African countries.

It was additionally noted that the state corporation plans to become profitable across the entire industry and is systematically reducing losses.

I hope that we will soon achieve profitability for the industry as a whole. The state corporation itself will be profitable by the end of this year.

On April 26, 2023, Borisov also reported that China is showing interest in Russian expertise in the creation of rocket engines. Furthermore, on April 10 of this year, the First Deputy Head of Roscosmos, Andrei Yelchaninov, announced that Russia is discussing the volume of RD-191 rocket engine supplies with the Indian side and hopes to sign a contract in the near future.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that Roscosmos lost 180 billion rubles due to the termination of contracts with the West.
