30 kg by Air: Cargo Drones Deliver Food to Russian Military Personnel

UAV operators track cargo delivery

Unmanned aerial vehicle operators of the mobile unit of the Logistics Support of the Airborne Forces (VDV) deliver food to units on the front lines. They use cargo quadcopters. This was reported in the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

This delivery method allows for the safe delivery of useful cargo to advanced units.

According to a Russian Armed Forces serviceman with the call sign Min, a cargo drone can carry up to 30 kg of food.

The package is hooked and ready to be dropped. We can freely send these 30 kilograms for 15 kilometers.

Video equipment on the drone allows tracking the dropping and receiving of cargo.
