Russian Platform Based on ERA-GLONASS to Be Integrated into Chinese Cars

SANY Truck Owners Will Be the First to Access the UVEOS Service

Chinese automakers have begun implementing a Russian service platform for motorists based on ERA-GLONASS. This refers to the Emergency Call Device (UVEOS), which has been mandatory for all new cars in Russia since 2017. The first automaker from China to implement it will be the official distributor of SANY trucks, ODIN Group. According to JSC GLONASS, an agreement has already been signed.

The launch of a new generation of emergency call devices initiates the implementation of a unique service platform for motorists based on ERA-GLONASS. This solution will improve the safety and comfort of millions of drivers and passengers. Currently, the smart device provides vehicle monitoring, and in the future, we will expand the range of services, including, for example, theft tracking.
Alexey Raikevich, CEO of JSC GLONASS

UVEOS is complemented by connected car functions. In real-time, the car owner will be able to track the location of their vehicle, the operating parameters of its units, and a number of other characteristics.
