Moscow Exchange Allowed the Appearance of Smiley Tickers

This is possible if the brand decides that a heart or smiley reflects its essence and philosophy

The Moscow Exchange is considering introducing tickers in the form of emojis. This was announced by Vladimir Krekoten, who holds the position of Managing Director for Sales and Business Development at the exchange.

If a brand decides that, for example, a heart or a smiley displays its entire essence, corresponds to its philosophy, and will be perceived equally by all investors in the market, why not.

At the moment, it is unclear how trading systems will work with such symbols. However, it is necessary to establish uniform rules for all market participants.

A ticker is a short designation for a stock, bond, or other security on the exchange. Thanks to the ticker, you can easily find the necessary company on exchange platforms.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that the international depository Euroclear has resumed operations with Eurobonds and local shares of Russian companies not subject to sanctions. The list of traded federal loan bonds was also expanded. The updated list includes companies such as Gazprom, Gazprom Neft, Lukoil, Nornickel, Mechel, Moscow Exchange, Inter RAO, Magnit, Aeroflot, AFK Sistema, Segezha, MTS, M.Video, Detsky Mir, and Beluga.
